Weekly Update for 12 August 2006

The work of laminating the frames is nearly over. 13 out of the 15 frames have been completed. The structure to hold the frames has been measured out and constructed on the floor of the workshop.

The frames for the hull will be assembled upside down on top of this structure and they will meet at the keel, which will form the central and highest part of the hull.

"Now you can see the true size of the boat, it looks very beamy with quite a lot of sheer", said Dan. "The builders model looks just right though and so, (we hope) will the boat when finished."
