Weekly Update for 8th September 2006

The hull lines of the boat are now clearly seen with all the frames in place and the keel and floor timbers securing them together. Two more laminations will be needed on the keel, to build it up to its enormous strength. The large size of the stem timbers and the knees to hold the keel to it will ensure that this vessel will intimidate rather than
be intimidated by other river craft LOL!

The transom will be built this week and planking will begin...I can't wait to see how the hull looks after the planking begins.
